Freelance Work

Someone with a true passion for words never stops writing! As well as writing my own books, I am also open to freelance opportunities, so please do get in touch if there is something you would like to discuss with me.

Some examples of freelance work…

Autobiographies by Amber

When I created a journey for the main character in Kayla’s Girls, it triggered an idea that I just couldn’t let go of – ghost writing the autobiographies of every-day people. With a BA Hons Degree in Psychology, years of experience of interviewing people, and a career as a writer, I couldn’t ignore the perfect combination of skills that would make it a success.

Huffington Post

Over the years, I have written several articles related to children, books, and parenthood which have been featured in the Huffington Post.

Teaching Sparks

When Teaching Sparks approached me to discuss modernising stories of mental health in schools, it was a no brainer for me. I wrote a number of short stories covering themes of anxiety, friendships, kindness, inclusion, change, loneliness, self reflection and determination. I also wrote a short story to help classes focus on the feelings of being back in school after lockdown.

Arty Facts And Figures

Educational children’s posters that also look great on their bedroom wall instantly appealed to me when I was approached to edit and proof read their material. I particularly enjoyed working on their reading theme posters.
